There's still nothing interesting going on. Michael gets his divorce today...which is brilliant and it feels like I have been waiting for this for ages. I'm a bit confused as to how he feels about the whole thing, as some days he'll say things like, "2 days to go and I'm free to marry you", but then he can be a bit pissed off about the whole thing. I can kind of understand, as I'm sure that when you get married, divorce doesn't even cross your mind. I just let him have his say, as it's probably his way of coping with things.
Have been getting slightly addicted to Twitter, but not too bad. Even though I have installed Tweet Deck to my laptop so I don't miss anyone's Twitterings, I can actually go days without even looking at it. For a while, I felt as though I was ignoring Live Journal and picking Twitter over it, but with the amount of "non-updates" and the fact that nothing interesting is going on for me to update about, micro blogging is the way to go...for now. But...never fear....when things finally do start picking up again...Live Journal will be the first to know about it.
Also, sometimes I feel like a bit of a stalker on Twitter, as I seem to be following more and more celebrities (Stephen Fry, Jonathon Ross and Philip Schofield being my favorites). But surely, if they didn't want us to know about what they are going to be eating for lunch or when they are going to bed, they wouldn't be on there. I suppose, it's like the question, "what's the point of blogging, if you are going to make all the posts private?" Personal preferences and whether or not you want peoples knowing the ins and outs of your life. Even I have been known to have the odd locked post.....
And Nemi has once again been keeping me amused with her gaming obsession.....

Well, after 3 days of Xbox LiVE being all over the place, I am hoping that it's all back to normal.
I knew that Monday would be a no go area for Dixie, as we were warned well in advance about it, but Tuesday and Wednesday were terrible. Being online and then getting disconnected, at times in the middle of conversations or getting into bed. Not the best of times for LDR when that's your main source of communication.
But because of all the downtime, my DS has been seeing a lot more action than it has done in months. I decided to try my hand at Legend Of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass again. I never completed it and because I had left it for so long, I couldn't remember where I had got to. So, that has kept me amused for a while. I'm going to try and complete it this time round, unless I get distracted by something equally as pretty. But luckily Gears 2 isn't out for another month yet.
I have to say an honourable mention to
majornelson and his Twitterings over the past couple of days. i can imagine him getting all kinds of messages while LiVE kept going offline. But he kept us all up to date as much as he could. Unfortunately no podcast from him and "e" this week.....BOO!!!
Looking forward to Saturday night. Pantera Gary and Freeqboi are hosting a Ship reunion, which could turn out to be quite interesting. There will be faces there that I haven't seen for about 5 years and I'm sure that they will be a few that I don't want to see too. But what I'm looking forward to the most is drinking and re-living crazy nights with Sarah. Must charge the battery in my camera, I'm sure there will be a few drunken photos posted. All we need now is a Cartoon reunion.........

But I have another interview set up for Saturday morning, so we'll see how that one goes.
I finally got the last COG tag in Gears of War...it's taken me long enough, but only because I've been distracted by other games. But it was starting annoy me as I only had 2 to find. But now I have found them, it's time to retire Gears and start the wait for Gears 2. Which is going to be amazing, by the way.
For a while I've been lurking on Twitter, not really understanding the whole concept behind it, but today I started and I have a horrible feeling that it's going to take over. Nothing will ever take me away from Live Journal, but this "micro-blogging" is quick and easy. But also slightly pointless....telling the world that I am wanting bacon, drinking coffee or any other things that isn't that interesting for a whole entry on Live Journal about. We'll see how it goes. If anyone wants to check it out, there's a link to my Twitter page in my links list.......
