Not Quite Zombies, But Close Enough

Who need life when there's 360?

I've been playing the latest installment in the Resident Evil series, and even though I have yet to complete it (I'm so close to the end, I can taste it...Mmm...BRAINS)...I think it's brilliant. Even though, in my opinion, nothing will ever come close to the original on the PSone (or even the remake on the GameCube), which used to scare the hell out of me. I  thought for a while that maybe, it was because I had become accustomed to the whole thing, but I played a bit of F.E.A.R.2 over the weekend.....and I ended up having to turn the game off at some points because I couldn't play it in the dark. And even in the daylight, it managed to make me jump a couple of times and I ended up swearing at the TV, pausing the game and having a break from it for a while. Okay, so I am and always have been a bit of a wuss when it comes to games like that. The worst instance being Silent Hill: The Room....I didn't manage to get past the first cut scene before turning it off. Unfortunately, Resi 5 hasn't has that effect on me, but it's nice to see familiar characters that I spent so much time with in the past, and with the addition of multi-player campaign, it makes this game a winner. I will be playing it for a while.....
And now, thinking of games that made an impact on my life takes me onto yet another game on the PSone...The Clocktower. It wasn't the best game that I have owned, but it has been the base of a long standing joke for years. And even though this will be totally lost on all but one person, I'm still going to say it...... SIDEGATE MAN!!!
