Yesterday I got asked to be Sarahs Maid of (Dis)Honour, which I really wasn't expecting. It came as a complete surprise. I knew that I would be going to Sarah and Scott wedding, and I really thought that I would just be there as a "punter" (can't think of a better term for it), and I would never have thought in a million years that I would be asked to be part of it. I know that we have been friends for an extremely long time, sharing a million memories....most of them being in various states of drunkeness. But this is going to be a memory that I will treasure for the rest of my life.
In some ways, I am sure that she has done this just so she can get me in a "pretty" dress......but hey, I'm not complaining, especially as I couldn't be more happy for the both of them. As long as I don't have to wear "stupid" shoes.....Hehehe!!
Does this also mean that I am in charge of planning the hen night?
There is something else going on which I don't want to disclose too much about, as I really don't want to push my luck and end up jumping the gun again. But he is also making me smile and that's all that I will say at the moment!!
