From now until January, I really don't mind the shorter days for one reason.....Christmas Lights!! Not the really tacky looking houses that go over the top....OVERKILL!! But something simple like a Christmas tree in the wndow, or a few lights on the outside. There's something heartwarming about Christmas lights. I think that was my mums influence, as she always had the best looking Christmas tree and the house always looked nice.
It's only after Christmas and New Year that the short days start to bother me. And that's when the Vitamin D starts getting taken to try and combat the symptoms of S.A.D. I'm hoping that I'll have some nice distractions next year, putting plans into place, that maybe I won't notice the short grey days.
